New weekly IT activities to launch this month 

Brodick-based youth group Arran Youth Foundations have been the lucky recipients of IT funding from Microsoft - and will launch a third weekly session where the island's young people can enjoy the benefits of their new hardware and software.

The young people of Arran Youth Foundations have shown off their football skills with a brand new video shot at a recent film-making session.

AYF's young people donate £100 to ArCaS

The young members of Arran Youth Foundations popped into the Arran Cancer Support Trust shop at Brodick pier on Thursday 24th January 2013 to present a cheque of £100.

The donation was 50% of the total raised by the successful Christmas card appeal run by the kids. Having brought in just over £200 by delivering cards around Brodick throughout November and December, the young folk were keen that the money benefit not just AYF but another local charity as well.

Trip to Edinburgh with IT Champions

Graeme Johnston, AYF's Youth Work Project Manager, took three of the group's young people through to Edinburgh on Friday 15th February 2013 in order to attend a training course hosted by Microsoft and UK Youth on the 16th.

£215 raised by Christmas card appeal

Our Christmas card appeal, which saw people post their cards for just 30p in Bilslands store and the young people of Arran Youth Foundations delivering them, raised a fantastic £215. In the new year, the kids who were involved will meet to discuss giving 50% to another charity of their choice.
