Activities kick-off for 2014/15 school year

After a busy summer programme of mainland trips and events on Arran, weekly youth work activities for the 2014/15 school year commence tonight (Friday 15th August) with Arran Youth Foundations' first session of the new term.

AYF enters independence debate

Arran Youth Foundations entered the debate on Scottish independence last Friday when we welcomed politicians Katy Clark and Kenneth Gibson for a question and answer session at St Bride's church.

Film Club: How To

Our good friends at UK Youth, our partner in the Microsoft Youth Hub project of 2013, asked us to make a short film that could serve as a 'How To' for other youth groups around the country looking to set up their own film-making clubs. The charity, based in Hampshire & London, kindly gave us £500 funding to improve our own film-making club.
